The World That Was Miniature Game - Avatars & Armies is an evergreen Ruleset for your tabletop wargaming. Set in the United States 1000 years into the future after a great Cataclysm, you create Avatars from Nations of Orcs, Dwarves, Elves, and Humans within the Land of Amrika. You can be a Hero, a Rogue, an Artificer, a Ranger, or a Bard equipped with Apunkalypse Tek left over from our age.
You get to use steampunk Science and resources to make your magnet gun go BOOM or to mix chemicals properly for effect. You can battle Armies or break-and-enter into billionaire’s bunkers to see what they hid inside, as well as explore the untamed Land of Amrika to hunt Kaiju that roam the earth. The World That Was is a noblebright setting where demons, devils, and magic don’t exist, nor a pantheon of uncaring gods calling for blood. Instead, you explore the healing Land and fight for your nation, discovering lost Tek and resources that strengthen you and your allies.
The World That Was is based on The Game of Kings Game Engine for an evergreen game that you need not fear Edition churn, so you only need buy the rules once to be able to play. You also get graph paper and sheets for Avatar creation and Army creation - plus no virtual pay walls preventing you from play. The World That Was is miniature agnostic. All that matters is the base you put the model on, so make your dream Army a reality.

The World That Was Role Playing Game - Kings & Kaiju is an expansion to The World That Was allowing you to do more with your Avatar as an individual instead of leading an Army. Your Abilities are able to do more, you have more Feats available to your Class and you and your party gain Abilities based on the role you play in your Fellowship. Don’t get me wrong, your Avatar can perish if you aren’t careful around levels 1 through 4. But around levels 5 through 8 you get to be Conan or Red Sonja performing heroic deeds. Plus you can rise up to Level 12 to become a Legendary Elder. As this is a supplement to Avatars & Armies, it is also a stand-alone game for those interested in only role play. However, everything in Kings & Kaiju can be used with Avatars & Armies. So feel free to level up your General and see if you can take on an entire Army!
There’s also a new adversary introduced in Kings & Kaiju: the Azimovians. A sentient A.I. that survived the Cataclsym that commands legions of androids from a deep underground military base. There’s even more Lore that continues the story of the Land of Amrika, so your Avatar progresses along with events in the Land.
You also gain an evergreen ruleset like Avatars & Armies, so you and your friends don’t ever need worry about buying another Edition. But don’t worry, I don’t just give you a ruleset and send you on your merry. There’s plenty of Module Adventures to delve into, as well as billionaire bunkers to break-and-enter in The World That Was. I make sure you can play in your own sandbox with the tools a good Game Master needs, while showing my own ideas of what the Land of Amrika contains in Module Adventures!
What’s more, everything you need to create your Avatar and journey in the Land of Amrika is included like Avatar sheets and graph paper. Permission is granted to photocopy for your own personal use.

Each Module comes with a minimum of 7 new Adventures, new Special Avatars, new Monsters, and new Tek. Module A2 - KINGDOM PAX takes you out into the Land of Amrika to explore the Kingdom of the Imps. I teach you how to Hex Crawl as you explore the Kingdom, as well as new Units exclusively for the Imp Nation as well as new Tek, new Upgrades, and the Ranger Class. Plus you get introduced to the neighbor Nations surrounding KINGDOM PAX Swith Lore and 7 Adventures as you explore. Module Adventure KK2 - The ANONYMOUS INN has you coming down from 40,000 feet to boots-on-the-ground to role play in The World That Was. Spoken of throughout The World That Was books, your Avatar finally gets to enter this establishment found within each Nation. Word is ancient Tek from pre-Cataclsym days was built into The ANONYMOUS INN, creating an anomaly that makes the Inn appear in numerous Nations at the same time. If you go into the Inn in Nova, then out the backdoor found in the Kitchen, they say you could arrive in Pendraeg, Pax, or even the Black City of Salem!

Star Wars Rivals is a game Tammy got me for Holiday, and we played it the entire time!
I love the simplicity of the game mechanics and the strategy each Character brings to the game. The Star Wars Rivals Premiere Set includes 4 Characters only available in these starters, and everything you need to play the game along with a special Kyber Crystal dice. It takes 30 to 45 minutes to play the Game, and Tammy & I play a 2-3 sessions of Rivals on our monthly Game Night. I know I need to bring my A-game when she puts C3PO on the table!

The Game of Kings Game Engine is your guide on creating a tabletop wargame using proven mechanics from kriegspiel wargames plus tabletop role playing games, historical wargames, and fantasy wargames. Many of these game mechanics are already familiar if you play wargames found on the market today, as they originate from game engines used in Military War Colleges and developed by writers since 1911 - including H.G. Wells, the author of “War of the Worlds” and “The Time Machine”. You can enjoy a History of Wargaming at the beginning of the Game Engine along with References at the end for your own research.
The goal of this Game Engine is to provide a guide to help you create a Role Playing Game and/or a Wargame for your home brew or for commercial reasons. This is solely a Game Engine without flavor text, artistic presentation or lore, giving you a reference of rules you can use without fear of infringing on intellectual properties.
After the Wizards of the Coast Open Gaming License debacle, Tammy and I had a hard think about what we wanted to do with The Game of Kings Game Engine in terms of making it open to any and all to use. We decided to release The Game of Kings to the Public Domain so everyone has access to these game mechanics without fear of litigation of any sort. The World That Was Game Journal was initially created for my personal use when I Solo Role Play and Solo Wargame. Now you can use this memoir to record your own Stories in The World That Was.
Lined pages are there for you to keep track of your Avatar’s stats and equipment, adventures, accomplishments and victories, as well as destinations visited. You can write about events your Avatar encounters, sketch out interesting monsters, cities, armor on included Art pages, and people of the different Nations. Document important people you meet, friends fallen in battle, and keep track of favors owed, along with feels felt along the way. There is also graph paper for hex crawls or bunker spelunking.
